The record for the longest wakeboarding marathon is 6 hours 17 minutes and was set by Ian Taylor of the UK when he wakeboarded behind a cable tow at Whitecap Leisure on Willen Lake, Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, UK on September 1, 2004.
Wakeboarding: Most Rail Airs in 30 Seconds
Jerome MacQuart of France set the record for the most wakeboard rail airs completed in 30 seconds by completing five on the set of L'Ete De Tous Les Records at Biscarrosse in France on July 14, 2005.
Fastest Barefoot Waterskiing (Male)
Scott Michael Pellaton hit a speed of 218.44 kmh (135.74 mph) while barefoot water skiing over a quarter-mile course at Chandler, Arizona, in November 1989. [video and interview]
Fastest Barefoot Waterskiing (Female)
Teresa Wallace hit a speed of 154.63km/h (96.08 mph) while barefoot waterskiing at Firebird International Raceway, Chandler, Arizona, on November 16, 2006. [Though not officially reported on the Guinness World Records site, this video indicates Wallace broke her own record in 2008.]
Waterskiing: Distance on Two Hands
Tony Castro waterskied on two bare hands 259 meters (849.7 feet) in Sacramento, California, on May 4, 2002.
Slalom Barefoot Waterskiing (Men)

The largest human water-skiing pyramid is a 44-person, triple 4-tier pyramid established by the Rock Aqua Jays Water Ski Team of Janesville, Wisconsin, at the National Water Ski Show Tournament held in Rockford, Illinois, in August 2003.
Largest Vehicle Waterskied/Wakeboarded Behind
The largest vessel waterskied /wakeboarded behind is the AIDAbella operated by captain Josef Husmann (Germany) with a gross tonnage of 69,203. Galileo TV reporter Jan Schwiderek (Germany) successfully water-skied for six minutes 25 seconds at 14 knots (26 km/h, 16 mph) behind the ship outside of Alicante, Spain, on October 1, 2010. [video]
The oldest female waterskier was Edith Murphy of Canada. On August 11, 2004, Edith was 90 years 109 days and she waterskiied at Lake Vernon, Hunstville, Ontario, Canada. [picture]
